Tasting Notes: Peanut Butter, Cocoa, Graham Cracker

Sweet Brazil is our most popular single origin offering by a wide margin. It's an approachable and sweet coffee, with something for everyone. The coffee is sourced from our friends, Veloso Coffee, from Fazenda Santa Barbara in the Cerrado region in Brazil.

The Veloso family has been producing and exporting fine coffees for decades, and their hard work is most evident in the consistency this coffee offers. Year after year this coffee is excellent and versatile, and we're excited to continue the relationship for years to come.

Best coffee ever! No bitter taste. First coffee I’ve truly enjoyed and can drink without adding cream or sugar! No stomach upset, just great coffee.

This is by far the best coffee anywhere . It’s fresh and smooth. We have been using it for 6 years. Used to purchase it from Whole Foods until I found out that I could get the five lbs bag directly from the company. The customer service is exceptional! Other companies could learn from them. We still look forward to the first cup of coffee in the morning. It’s so delicious.

The process of making the coffee is wonderful grinding the whole beans with the aroma swirling around you. It makes you even more excited for the cup your going to brew. I have an electric grinder with multiple settings. This coffee makes amazing drip coffee (reusable set up in a keurig) or it makes an amazing espresso out of my machine. It’s amazing anyway I’ve tried to drink it. Black or with creamer this is my go to favorite bean. I can’t wait to try the other roast they offer!

We have tried many whole bean coffees, looking for the perfect brew. I think we might have found it! We found it at Kroger and it was going to be going to be a once and a while treat, now it's a weekly purchase! "So think twice before you try it!" Lol

Each cup is balanced, rich-toned, with just enough chocolate taste to make it about as perfect as you can get in a cup of coffee. Well Done 8th and Roast!

It’s a good balanced coffee that has rich flavor without being too dark or smoky. It finishes with a little sweetness.

what is the difference between single origin coffee and coffee blends?

single origin coffee comes from a specific geographic region, or in 8th & Roast’s case, a farm or family of farms. this allows for a dialed-in flavor profile that carries the trademark of the area where the coffee was grown, with elements like climate, elevation, and soil as factors. blends are created when our roasters combine coffees of a different origin and/or process in a deliberate way, creating a unique flavor profile.
